This page says what we collect, where it comes from, why we have it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. It covers three places: this website, the newsletter, and the invitation-only product demo. The whole practice fits on this one page.
No patient information is in Lecron today. If you are reviewing us for a laboratory, start at Patient information and HIPAA.
The short version
- We collect your email address when you hand it to us, plus the answers you give when you book a call.
- This site counts page views and clicks on the handful of buttons that lead to the tour or a call. The service that counts them is PostHog.
- The demo records how it is used, including a replay of the session. It is tied to the email you signed in with, or, if we sent you a temporary link, to that link and to the name and email you give on it.
- There are no advertising trackers anywhere: not on this site, not in the demo.
- We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We have never done any of the three.
- One email to [email protected] deletes what we hold about you.
What we collect, and why
This is the whole list. There is no hidden field, no form that says one thing and sends another, and we buy no information about you from anybody.

The same list in the law's words
California's privacy law asks for this list in a fixed vocabulary, so here it is again in those terms. We collect identifiers (your name, email address, phone number, and the identifier PostHog stores in your browser), professional or employment-related information (your role and your lab's monthly unit volume, when you tell us), internet or other electronic network activity information (the pages you visit here and the screens you visit in the demo), and electronic or visual information (the session replay inside the demo).
Two sources only: you, when you fill in a form or write to us, and your own use of this site and the demo. We collect no sensitive personal information, and we use and disclose nothing for a purpose beyond the ones named in the table above. We draw no inferences from any of it to build a profile of you. In the past 12 months, and in every month before it, we have sold nothing, shared nothing for cross-context behavioral advertising (the legal name for following you around other sites), and disclosed nothing for a business purpose beyond the service providers named below.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your contact information.
- We do not share it for advertising, and we run no advertising trackers anywhere.
- We do not buy information about you, and we do not add to what you gave us from other databases.
- We do not contact you about anything other than Lecron and your early access.
- We do not knowingly collect anything from a person under 16.
Who else touches it
A short list of services handles your information on our behalf: the ones that host this site and the demo, count page views, deliver our email, schedule your call, and hold our notes on the labs we talk to. Each is named, with what it handles and where it runs, on the sub-processors page. They act on our instructions and for no purpose of their own, and we disclose your information to nobody else.
When you book a call you are using Cal.com's own service, so they handle your booking under their privacy terms as well as ours. If you would rather not use it, email us and we will set a time by hand.
Patient information and HIPAA
Lecron is software for dental laboratories, so a reviewer asks this first. No patient information is in Lecron today, and none should be.
A laboratory that receives patient information from a practice is a business associate under HIPAA. Software that holds that information for the laboratory is one too: the rule covers a subcontractor that creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information on a business associate's behalf (45 CFR 160.103). That means a signed business associate agreement between your lab and us before a single real case goes in. We do not have those agreements yet, and we will not tell you Lecron is covered before we do.
So do not put a real patient's name, image, scan, or chart number into the demo. Every patient, dentist, and laboratory in it is invented, and it is not built to hold the real thing. The security page says where that work stands, in plain words, including the parts that are not finished.
How long we keep things
The table above gives a period for each item. Where it does not give a fixed date, the rule is the same one: we keep something while it is still doing the job it was collected for, and delete it when it is not. Nothing is kept because it might be useful one day.
Your rights, wherever you live
Several states now give people rights over information about them. Most of those laws set a size threshold that a company our size is under. We answer requests as though they applied, because the answer should not depend on which state you are in. You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and where it came from
- send you a copy of it
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it
There is nothing to opt out of on the sale or sharing of your information, because we do neither, and nothing to limit on sensitive information, because we collect none.
To ask, email [email protected] from the address you want us to look up, or write to the postal address at the bottom of this page. We answer within 30 days, and if a request needs longer we tell you that and why.
To check it is you, we reply to the address on file. For anything beyond a deletion we may ask one question only the right person could answer. We never ask you to send identity documents. If someone is asking on your behalf, have them send us your written permission, and we will confirm with you before we act on it.
If we say no, reply with the word appeal in the subject line. A founder reads it and answers with the reason in writing. Asking costs nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you or your lab.
Cookies, and what sits in your browser
This website sets no cookies. What it does leave is one PostHog identifier in your browser's local storage, which is how a second visit counts as the same visit rather than a new person. Clearing site data removes it.
The demo needs two things in your browser. One is the same PostHog identifier. The other is whichever key let you in: the Cloudflare Access cookie if you signed in, or, if we sent you a temporary link, a cookie naming that link, which holds no email address and stops working when the link closes. The booking page loads the Cal.com scheduler from cal.com, which stores what it needs to take a booking.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to switch off here, because we do not sell or share your information. If you would rather not be counted on this site, block the analytics domain in your browser. In the demo the recording is the point of the visit, so if you would rather not be recorded, tell us: we will walk you through the product on a call instead, and delete any record already made.
The email we send
Two kinds, both of them asked for. The newsletter, Insights for Growing Dental Labs, goes out when there is an issue worth sending. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address, and an unsubscribe takes effect at once. The other kind is a reply to something you sent us. We send nothing else, and we put no advertising in either.
Where the data sits
This site and the demo are served by Cloudflare. Every connection to either is encrypted in transit, and the services that hold anything for us encrypt it at rest. Production access is held by the two founders and nobody else. The security page has the detail, including how to report a weakness you find: [email protected].
People under 16
Lecron is sold to dental laboratories and dental practices, so nothing here is aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. We have never sold or shared anyone's information, a minor's included. If you think a child gave us something, write to us and we will delete it.
If you are outside the United States
Lecron serves dental laboratories in the United States, and the services above run there. If you subscribed from elsewhere, your email address sits on a US server. The rights above are yours on the same terms.
When this page changes
The date at the top moves whenever anything here changes, and what changed is listed below. If a change matters to you, a new service, a new kind of information, or a new purpose, we put a note at the top of this page for 30 days and say it in the next newsletter issue.
- September 18, 2026: rewritten to match what the site actually does. The retired waitlist form came out; the newsletter and download forms and the Cal.com booking went in; PostHog is named as the service that counts page views here; retention, your rights, and the browser storage list were added; and the HIPAA answer now sits here as well as on the security page.

Who we are, and how to reach us
Lecron is the name we trade under while our Delaware corporation is formed. When the filing completes, the company's legal name and registered address appear here. Until then these answers are given by the founders under the Lecron name.
